I do not understand this, how are these so called boxing experts so ignorant? Yes, Canelo can weigh whatever he wants but he is shorter than GGG, he will have shorter legs and arms and probably smaller fists too. That counts as part of size. Canelo can weigh whatever he wants but GGG is a better physical example of a middleweight. Simple.

When talking about hype it depends on what you're talking about. Is Golovkin a good fighter, yes. Is he anywhere near as good as his fans and HBO etc hype him up to be? No.

Most of the media say he's the best Middleweight in the world and in the top 10 P4P. Those are pretty self evident. How is that hype.

Because most put him in the top 3 p4p and he doesnt have anything on the resume to back that up. Hes clearly the best MW in the world but the best MW in the world is about to go into his career "defining" fight against a guy with no wins against MWs.

Add in the fact that Miguel Cotto blasted out a top 10 MW easily and it goes to show you how weak that division really is. Cotto has no business in with MWs. Cotto is a prime career WW who couldnt cut weight at the end of his career. Any decent fighter, who is a real MW, should be able to take him out.
