Canelo is smaller by virtue of the fact that he's clearly shorter and that matters. Body composition-wise, I think it's close. Canelo is very stocky. The most important thing to be said is that it's a fair fight. Those who are trying to pretend that there is zero physical difference are children with child-like minds. As are those who act as if Canelo is facing Goliath.

In a fight, boxers always have advantages over each other, be it size, experience, physical youth, technique, etc, etc. No one is ever exactly the same. This is about as close as you can get to 50/50, and that's really what matters.

When talking about hype it depends on what you're talking about. Is Golovkin a good fighter, yes. Is he anywhere near as good as his fans and HBO etc hype him up to be? No.

But Hunter said Golovkin is not hype

Are you ******ed? People have different opinions. Hunter saying Golovkin isn't hype doesn't mean he agrees with ******s like you that say he's an ATG.

People have different definitions of a hype job. Some people think a fighter just winning a title means he isn't an hype job.

Damn Redd haven't seen you a minute. good points.

GGG's advantage is his back hop on controlling range with his jab. However, Alvarez's pounce imo, because as the youth you acknowledged, has about a 30% faster reaction time. Which means Alvarez will be able to catch GGG even on back foot range retreats. Alvarez is underrated with speed, but speed can negate many things.

For me, it's Alvarez's curvature, may overhand cross swings that have a lot of flexible leverage with power. Gennady is always tense with his gloves up that we somewhat know how he will setup his shots. Gennady cannot bend his torso forward like fast crosses that Nelo can do. be it the youth. Surely Gennady has a great response with bending his torso fror those mean body shots but so does Nelo.

Alvarez is the boxer that Danny Garcia should've sthrived to be. Alvarez sets up offensive and flexibility that Danny Garcia could've used throughout his career. Garcia just doesn't have that X Factor performance and IQ that Nelo has; but somehow seem a bit similar. Be it Garcia is a limited version of Alvarez
