if you don't like the fact that the world respects the WBC more than the WBO and the world considers the WBC belt more valuable than the WBO belt, too bad. facts are facts.

it would be my personal preference that all four leagues go out of business. but just because i prefer that the WBC and WBO both go out of business doesn't mean i have to lie about whether one is more prestigious than the other.

    1) good for you
    2) so fkn what ?

the fact that you prefer turd #2 and turd #3..... over turd #1 and turd #4..... is noted..... and quickly forgotten, because..... who cares?

your opinion/personal preference does not change the fact that neither the WBC nor the IBF have EVER been definitive..... neither have EVER been categorically viewed as the only, or even the best, sanctioning body

..... and BOTH have been guilty of bribery/corruption

fk turd #2 and turd #3

boxers can fight over an old pair of socks for all I care..... I don't need a particular fight to be sanctioned by either of those asshat's in order to enjoy it

    e.g.
Canelo doesn't need the WBC, and NOBODY needs the IBF

more qualified to score the fight than someone like Juan Manuel Marquez, Pacquiao's biggest rival.

is Marquez - Pacquiao's biggest rival - really impartial..... ?

I'm not saying it did or it didn't. I have no knowledge of anything like that and I would never make a public accusation of something I had no knowledge of.

I'm just saying there are other ways of doing things that don't require anything being paid under the table.

The fight wasn't in the US, so you don't have to worry about WBO judges being blocked and there's no reason to payoff the judges as the WBO could just assign whoever they know will do what they need.

So all there would be to pay off is the WBO, but why would you need to? Manny had an 8 figure purse. Fighters at that level rarely pay the standard sanctioning fee. The promoter negotiates with the sanctioning body. Why would you have to pay anything under the table when you're already negotiating how much is to be paid over the table?

it's not an opinion. it's a fact, based on purse bid history, that the marketplace deems the WBC title as the most valuable and the WBO as the least valuable.

the NYSAC, NBA and IBU weren't definitive either. boxing has never had a definitive world championship. doesn't change the fact the WBC, which has the NYSAC & IBU lineage, and the WBA, which has the NBA lineage, were long considered the premier organizations. the WBO has never been an equal.

The **** is f**king hilarious, it really is. There was some f**king guy on the board the other day that was saying that all those boxers/promoters/trainers who had Pacquiao winning this fight "were swayed by Teddy's commentary".

Yeah. The dudes on this board, 95% of which have never even been in a real boxing gym can see through Teddy's commentary, but guys like Guillermo Rigondeaux, Juan Manuel Marquez, Lou DiBella, Robert Garcia, Errol Spence, Gabe Roasado, Claressa Shields, Abner Mares, Lennox Lewis, Chris Eubank Jr, Joel Diaz, Erik Morales, etc. all can't...lmfaoooo

            this f**king place is priceless

Yeah, pro boxers/trainers/promoters need to be swayed by commentary In order to determine the winner of a boxing match. As you said, these people have never stepped foot In a boxing gym and would have no clue how to put on a glove. Their understanding of scoring a boxing match consists of what they learned from the fight night video game.

I have been here since 2006 and this place seems to be worse than It ever has.

he binned it to duck GGG and he'll bin it to duck charlo. the WBO is now the HBO in house title and oscar will make sure to get that WBO middleweight title on to canelo whether he beats GGG or not. there's no way oscar will risk having to deal with haymon mandatories.

considering floyd made so much more money than pacquiao in his career and beat pacquiao in a WBC-WBO unification, don't you think it was really ****** for you to use that as your example? mayweather was WBC vs WBO and the WBC champion made way more money and won the fight. that was probably the worst example you could have possibly dreamed up.
