Casual sports fans trump real boxing fans.
This is going to be way bigger than you guys think. All casual fans are getting it along with mma. 600k die hards of Manny Canelo and all 100k Ggg fans wont.
Mcgregor highest PPV is 1.65 million buys.
Floyd Canelo did 2.2 and had casuals.
Rock bottom is those 2 numbers 3.85 million. You guys really think another million nationwide wont get this to approach 4.8?

Yall must like a real circus show to pay that kind of money for this circus act. There will be boos and people will want their money back. Sad for Conor !
Timing will destroy him an want see it coming. He forfeits all his money if he uses any mma tactics but it would be hilarious if he did as he would murder de guy.

Look dude this fight is big. Im not saying it's not. But it's no where near what May-PAC was to the whole entire sports world.

I'm in the UK so the PPV's are a lot cheaper here but I haven't missed a Floyd in a long time, and as much as I think its a mismatch I'll probably end up paying to see it when the time comes.
I agree it will do a good number but not what they expect or atleast it won't break the record IMO. Too many missing ingreidents. Plus they are assuming that all of the hardcore UFC guys will buy it which I doubt. I'd bet more hardcore UFC guys brought Mayweather-Pacquaio as opposed to this one.

Except now, you've got the live event money (gate, sponsors, closed circuit, merch, etc; once everything is counted you're likely talking about a $50m net), international TV (UK/Ireland likely brings the most money, but the fight will be featured in basically every TV market possible; $20m off of international TV isn't unheard of), and other revenue streams to consider besides PPV.
With all of the non-PPV money, you're likely at needing to draw 1m-1.2m PPV homes to cover the guarantees to both camps (getting everyone ridiculously paid) before starting to count the upside money.
Will the fight do 5m PPV homes; unless McGregor is the most epic **** talker in combat sports, or footage/information gets out that makes folks think that McGregor could legitimately win, I doubt it.
Thing is, it doesn't have to to 5m PPVs; with all of the money coming in on the fight, even at 3m homes, Mayweather and UFC/McGregor would still be splitting $250m-$300m between them. Both sides get their guarantee, and then still split another $100m+ on the back-end.
Didn't say it would be bad business.
Just don't think it will do as well as they think.

For a person who thinks that this is utterly ridiculous, you've sure let it occupy a ton of space in your head.
Exactly. Thank you. If Floyd wins his f@ggot ass will be in hiding. But for some reason if Conor did win by knock out or whatever his bytch ass would be in here front in center. ALL these people saying they are not watching this fight or full of shyt.
They comment about 3 to 4 times per article yet they don't care about the fight? That weak ass bum ass Lomo fight I will not watch nor will I comment on any article bashing that bum ass fight.
