Mayweather in financial trouble or financial ruin?

I'm sure he can pay those pending taxes.. Floyd may be reckless with how he spends his money but only 1 or 2 of his assets would be enough to repay those taxes.. I don't think he can go broke(like Tyson) but come down to <50mil by the time he is done living his lifestyle..Comment

Its well known that as a promoter Floyd pays for ALL items at his fights. Drinks, hot dogs, t-shirts, etc, etc...all of that costs money. What's the most likely scenario is Floyd has put much of his money into his fight, and requested to pay his taxes after he gets the return from the fight. This is a common known business practice. It might be costing him several hundred million dollars to put on this fight, but the return will net a much higher amount in the end.Comment

Really not a big deal but I get why people want to run with the story because like a dumb ass he flaunts his wealth on social media! He is weeks away from making something like $300 Million or something crazy like that so what every issue he has he will be able to take care of it lucky for him
Still not in the clear though because Imagine what the Taxes are going to be for this coming event

If he still had ten more years of fighting and many more huge pay days left. Then i say its not an issue as he would have huge money still coming in.
To try and sustain the lifestyle he had while he was fighting and generating money, but live the same way in retirement is not sustainable for him. He need a major shift in the way he lives, otherwise when he is ready to push up daisy's, his kids wont be getting the motherload.Last edited by boxinghead530; 07-10-2017, 01:04 PM.Comment
