Going to be fun watching the same writers who hate PBC and anything Haymon related shill for boxing on HBO. I mean, it wasn't that long ago when writers were whining about how Mayweather being unhappy with the Jack-Degale descion was bad for the sport and undermined a great card, but Pac supposedly getting robbed in the eyes of millions of casual fans is good for the sport?

ESPN is going down the toilet fast as hell. Arum picked the worst time to join a failing network.

One thing I don't get is where the money comes from. ESPN is undoubtedly not paying as much for shows as HBO does (or rather did), but I don't see Pacquiao, Crawford, Lomachenko, etc., taking pay cuts at this stage of their careers

Ggg is what, 36? Who the hell else do they got left?
i expect hbo to start working with haymon/pbc shortly!

espn pays a rights fee i think! They need boxing because a lot of other bigger sports contracts for tv deals are ending! So for them to pay for boxing is cheap compared to other bigger sports!

no its not idiot. that's why they laid off alot of anchors to save money and are investing in boxing to cover their dry spring and summer spells. Al Haymon and Top Rank.
