If Golovkin loses to Canelo and retires will he be a first ballot HOF fighter?

Absolutely not...the division was weak, he made no effort to move up and face better opposition, just fought bums and waited on canelo...thats literally his entire career, with eeking out a decision win over B level Jacobs.

first ballot just means you get in the first time you're eligible, which is five years from the time you retire. i really hope gennady golovkin isn't a hall of famer at this point in the eyes of the BWAA.
