This press release says nothing. GBP sent out a release saying Alvarez/Cotto was a near sell-out, but failed to mentioned the T-Mobile Arena was only configured for 12,000 people for that event. Only 10,100 of those seats were filled with paying customers.

All the seats may have been bought by ticket brokers, but that does not mean that the fight is sold out because they may only sell half the tickets they bought. Also, we do not know how many seats the arena is scheduled to hold.

Saying the arena is sold out is the equivalent of a kid saying "all my veggies were eaten" while conveniently forgetting that he gave most of them to the dog.
