Point is the NFL and other leagues do the same thing. When tickets go on sale for huge events they are mostly bought up by scalpers and secondary websites. The average Joe is not getting access to those tickets and have to pay a markup price if you want to go. This isn't a boxing problem. If you go to major sporting events this is what goes on. There is too much money involved and the demand and market sets the prices.

First off, tickets where release to the public. I was able to get one during the presale for $856.00 after tax, is an upper level ticket but I'm happy. This is a once in a lifetime fight, so didn't mind dropping a bit of dough to see this fight live. I do agree however that the markup for these tickets are ridiculous the same section ticket I bought is going for $1350.00+ on stubhub, lmao...Comment

What are you talking about? I got 2 tickets in section 4(right behind front section)for 2,400 each the day before public presale. And they were available until the other day,& there were many others available also, the ones that mustve sold out in seconds were the nosebleeds, but there are still some available at inflated prices. I am willing to sell anyone my 2 tickets with a small profit as ill be unable to attend.Comment

It will be a game changer for sure Vegas up until the MGM built the T-Mobile a few years ago could only hold I think like 15K in small outdated arenas. Now T-Mobile holds over 20K but having a football stadium in Vegas that holds 60K plus will be huge for boxing. Now you get the stadium size crowds but still keep it near the casinos that have the money.Comment

THIS IS THE REAL FIGHT for this year.
The other ridiculous event, a circus show between a wrestler pretending to be a boxer and the worst pest in boxing in this generation, is not even relevant as a "boxing event," compared to GGG-Canelo.
I really hope this fight does way better than Canelo-Floyd in PPV.
And I also hope GGG destroys Canelo in the end, which is the logical thing to happen, but having gotten into a war previous to the KO, the caliber of a Hearns-Hagler or Ali-Frazier. I really don't want to see this end in a decision for the judges. I am expecting blood.
This has the potential to be the best fight of this century, if Canelo is for real. Bring it on!!!Comment

Once this stadium is finished, raiders stadium will be the best place in THE WORLD to host fights,& if canelo beats ggg then hell be fighting there for sure,as will joshua/spence when hes more established/& even several others like santa cruz & esp. Mexican fighters will be the main ones who would be able to fill it @ the cheap prices their charging. But I fully expect joshua vs wilder to fill it if joshua ever stops chasing bums & wilder too,but right now the main one holding things up is Joshua who's begging klit 4 ANOTHER(1st x was no cherry) cherrypick payday rather than trying to fight young undefeated lions like windmill wilder.Comment
