Okay, but did they think that before the Golovkin fight? Doesn't matter really because if Danny keeps winning the fight is going to happen at some point. Unless it's really close and a rematch is needed, whoever loses this fight will probably take on him next. If Canelo wins there will probably be a Mayweather rematch, if Golovkin wins he should either rematch Jacobs, fight Saunders or move up.

Wondering if he blows off the a.m. weigh-in like Jacobs did. Probably Canelo will come to the ring around 175 or so - I doubt he's coming in lighter than he did at JMW (which was as high as 174) but maybe he can make 170 for the a.m weigh-in then finish rehydrating to fight weight afterwards.

Yup! So does a ton of other great boxers. Casual fans LOVE KO artists. It's why half these same guys said Ward was gonna get STOMPED.

He would be a fool to go higer than 175... Both will make weight and both will come in around 173/174.

Jacobs has a weak chin. And I don't know how much longer he can stay at 160??? He's gonna have a few more TKO's losses down the road. Unless he turns into a straight outside boxer like he did on GGG. But then he was fighting on his toes and wasn't hitting with power.

Jacobs looks like a Super MW.
                GGG like MW
Canelo looks like he could still make 154

All you have to do is look at the size difference. GGG is BIGGER.

100% truth, and this is part of why we will get the Mayweather-Canelo rematch if he wins. That and because there's too much money there not to do it.

If the judging is fair the only way Canelo can win this fight is if he knocks out Golovkin. He won't outbox him. G has better defense, stamina, hits harder and has a higher ring IQ.

Dude i'm from NYC, Jacobs has only be underestimated by people who don't know the kid is a gem that has been limited by illness and his trainer. Jacobs was poised to be the biggest name to come out of NYC boxing until the Pirog fight and the cancer call. Canelo is never going to fight Jacobs, even as a mandatory and i'm willing to even put real money on that bet. Charlo, Trout, hell even Lemieux are more likely to want to fight Jacobs than Canelo is for two reasons. He's a nightmare fight for Canelo which DLH knows and the fact Jacobs is a Haymon fighter. Golovkin retires after this fight or after fighting Saunders.
