I got GGG by late stoppage, that nasty jab is just too much and that relentless workrate might overwhelm Canelo by the mid of the fight.

One thing I know for sure, if Canelo is the special fighter a lot of people think he is (including myself) then the fight will be paced by Canelo instead of GGG.

If the fight ends being a boxing match then Canelo did his job efffectively, if the fight goes to a frenetic non stop rythim then GGG imposed his style.

Make no mistakes just like Ward vs Kovalev this is a beauty of a fight, and this fight will tell everything we have to know about GGG and Canelo, Can't wait for Sep. 16.

Can't wait for this fight, but I genuinely think it won't be the fight everyone thinks it will be, canelo will play it safe and won't engage in toe to toe scuffles.

Also whoever controls the distance wins, I expect canelo to make golovkin miss (alot) early on but his poor footwork and bad tendency to sit on the ropes might come back to bite him bad.

I think triple g will be too much down the stretch for canelo though, I mean canelo is not Jacobs, he's not as strong, big or athletic and doesn't have Jacobs footwork skills so he can't use that gameplan for sure.

I'm very very intrigued though both have good chins, both gas, (canelo is more apparent though) but I just can't see how canelo stands and trades with golovkin for 12 and not get KOed, unless he fights very safe.

Though, that said, you are either trolling or have very little idea about what exactly a journeyman boxer is. Not that Golovkin's opponents have been elite but Murray, Macklin, Lemieux and Jacobs are not journeymen and more importantly they are all fully fledged MWs.

but there is the obvious twist ... all Canelo's opponents bar Chavez were at LMW. The one time Canelo has jumped up to MW or higher, and no, I don't count 155 as MW even though technically it is, he lacked power against Chavez jr.

Canelo will struggle to deal with the power Golovkin lands. GGG will struggle to land because Canelo is and will fight more elusive than any fighter Golovkin has faced.
Okay, for the most part we agree. Journeymen was the wrong word but the point is his competition hasn't been that good. Not to say Canelo has fought killers, because he hasn't but he's fought better guys. Yes most of them were at 154 but that's because most of his career has been there. I do believe GGG is very good and he will have a size advantage but we saw him against by far the best guy he fought in Jacobs and a lot of people thought he lost. So I don't get why people are acting like he's just going to dominate. I don't see it. It's going to be hard for him to win, because with De La Hoya promoting it I don't see him getting a decision against the closest thing boxing has to a current cash cow, so he needs a KO I think.

Because most of us believe Jacobs would beat the dog shhht out of Canelo and its very hard to argue against it. Faster, slicker, better defensively, stronger, bigger and offers up one punch KO power. Canelo does not have the style to beat Jacobs.

Unlike Canelo, Jacobs is a big, tall and strong middleweight who can really punch. Don't get me wrong...Canelo is a very skilled fighter but the Chavez's fight made him look better than what he really is. I am sure he would have struggled or perhaps lost against Jacobs too...
For a minute their I thought u said Jacobs CAN take a punch... U almost had me falling out of my chair laughing.

??? They're fighting for the IBF title. Which requires same day weight. He won't be able to fight for the belt if he weighs more than 10 lbs over 160...
