If you want to be a journalist then stick with the truth & everything else will fall into place. So far Paul Mango is doing a great job but so far I disagreed with him once & it was regarding the pac v horn fight....Jeff beat manny period.

I disagree, I can't see canelo ever getting the rematch, a Canelo rematch won't generate the kind of money floyd will want, and while canelo has definitely improved he's still not shown enough to show me he beats mayweather, I think he would get schooled again tbh.

you've got to remember since the razor close decision against Lara, he has been matched very very carefully usually against much smaller or weight drained opponents who happen to have big profiles that help GBP market the fights to the public.

I agree he's been matched carefully and I still don't think Canelo can beat Mayweather, but if he beats Golovkin regardless of how close or controversial it is, a lot of people will be saying he can. It's the biggest money fight out there for Floyd after the McGregor fight so it he wants to fight again after that it's gonna happen. Biggest problem will be negotiating with De La Hoya to get it done.

The exact arguments you use are why I don't even bother with P4P let alone compare fighters from different eras - I really don't understand the excitement and high emotions provoked by such obviously subjective discussions. When it comes down to ATGs I'll say what I always say: leave that **** to the pundits and historians of the future.
All you have to do is follow the fighters career & his competition. Get in the ring learn the sport & don't let your bias, favorite style, racism or just listening to the media influence your assessment. Proof is in them tapes. I remember when he fought Zab Judah, I was going for Judah (I was a little bias cuz Im a southpaw also) I followed Floyd's career but thought Zab could beat him then Floyd proved me wrong. Floyd just keep winning & the way he was winning & who he beat but from what I saw & what the media portrayed were two different things. As what we would say in them streets, "Man f**k what you heard" he is T.B.E. and if you don't think so then who would you say is? Oh wait let me guess, it's the ones that are repeated in the media.....

Excellent comment, I can respect that.

Yeah. Cept I have boxed man, albeit only on and off for a coupla years. You ain't got some monopoly on knowledge or truth so fuck what you say. You're entitled to your opinion man, but never forget that's all it is - where you come from doesn't make you any more objective.

And yeah, sure I'll take account of the opinions of boxing pundits and historians when it comes to deciding the best ever - to not do so is the very definition of ignorance. Thing is, for me, there is no right answer as I've already stated. It's an impossible and pointless comparison. What I do know is that there's no consensus that it's Floyd.

So you never said who you think is the all time greatest......is it golovkin for you? Lol....Just like boxing pundits and historians would say if he retired now.......Floyd is T.B.E. P4P cuz I won't say he could move up & beat Ward or something like that.

Golovkin? GTFOH... I like GGG but I've said many, many times he ain't even close to the ATG discussion.

Nah man. If you read my previous posts you'll see that I consider the question meaningless... there is no way of establishing a ATG #1 - all there is a pile of subjective bull**** led by fanboys and nostalgia geeks.
