Lacy vs Hopkins now

A relativily one dimensional power puncher against an old defensive great above his original weight class.
Im asking this as if Bhop was facing lacy next and not tarver.

Hopkins, even in his old age... is still fast enough to punish Lacy. Lacy doesn't have quite enough dimensions to his game in order penetrate B-Hop's D. Also, Hop's straight right does some damage over the course of the fight. 116-112 for Hopkins.

I tend to agree with you, but with Hopkins weight fluxuations and his old age, it has the potential to be very interesting imo.

lacy can't box and put his combos together very well, he's pretty much a head hunter with alot of power. hopkins will have a big height and reach advantage, and his defense and experience will give him the edge. that said, hopkins UD. this is probably the reason why roy jones said he wanted to fight lacy, what i mean is he probably saw how green he was and thought that he could exploit that weakness if calzaghe couldn't.
