NOBODY in boxing fights monsters every time.Kovalev's a great fighter, and when u have 2 hard fights in a row u deserve some softer serve (at least in my opinion), everyone else does it even when they don't have two hard fights in a row. Why should the standard be so so different for Ward.Ward and his people finding weaknesses where others cant may have something to do with it because Andre is smart and so is Virgil Hunter but I still think they're very careful in taking risky fights. There is Kessler, Froch and Kovalev that are top tier fighters on Andre Ward resume but that's it.
The fact that they're calling Bellow out at cruiserweight is telling because that's not a tough fight for Andre and Andre stating "we would move up but only for the right fight" is telling as well.
Plus, "the right fight" most likely implies a multitude of factors like, obtaining new belts, chartering new divisions, money, soft serve etc.
Plus moving up into a new weight division u never should fight the top guy's first because your in uncharted waters so it's important to feel it out first with some light work then proceed accordingly.
Virgil/Ward doing homework on guys goes way beyond picking out soft serve. These guys r zeroing in on, not only the physical and technical weaknesses but the psychological as well, Irrespective of who it is, monster or soft serve they find a way to get it done. They are gym **** and chess players. Theses guys r on some real Art of War sh.t.Last edited by SugarRaRobinson; 07-07-2017, 08:10 AM.Comment

Still borderline and questionable. Nuts actually hang my friend. So unless Kov had undescended tescticals I don't see your point. Now the pubic hair area does cover a sensitive bone area that WAS most likely struck and can be debilitating as well .
That's the proper argument u guys should be making if u wanna look for a sound argument, but not the nuts.Comment

That "Beltline Doe "gif is manipulated. It shows a shadow of Ward's glove going upwards. Lol. They tried to manipulate the red portion of Ward's glove touching the top of the beltline but in doing so it looks suspect. Even the top of the beltline jiggles odd versus the original. When I get a chance I will upload the original with overexposure to show how Ward's glove in red clearly touches the top of the beltline.Still borderline and questionable. Again, Kovalev's suspension of disbelief is because is he's crouched over with an air pocket crease. I mean the gif clearly shows Ward's glove ripping through the top of the letters without showing any impact until his glove smashes the top of his belt line.
They have clever editors, but it can be debunked by the graciousness of the lord.Comment

You basically contradict your own claim of Ward having better scalps on his resume than other active fighter or words to that effect.
Yes. Andre and Virgil are both very smart and do dissect the opponents for Andre but that still doesn't take away from the fact that they're picking the guys with the least risk most of the time.Comment

Yes. It is borderline and if the ref isn't calling it then Andre should keep throwing there because it's hurting Kovalev and he's having a hard time dealing with it. I think only one blow in that last sequence is low but if it is, then the ref should've called a break in the action.Still borderline and questionable. Nuts actually hang my friend. People are going to use the term "hit in the nuts" for low blows that are in that region whether they miss the nuts or not, it's just an expression.Comment

I made the "Beltline Doe "GIF to use as my sig for a while. The source I used was the HBO fight video, when they replayed the last punch after the fight during the Kellerman interview. That "Beltline Doe "gif is manipulated. Like I said, when I get the chance I will post another video in Full HD for you with commentary. Of course informing the public is importantComment

You're right. Ward's focus on hitting the Russian's groin protector took a lot out of him.Comment
