So if you feel that works against Ward, then how bad of a predicament was Kovalev in , in the 8th round ? You do realize that u can't just gauge Wards tank without gauging Kovalev's too right ? So if Ward was spent, then Kovalev was:
"Dearly departed, we've gathered here today..............."
Do u proof read before u hit submit ?
My point was this is boxing, a single punch can change everything. There were 4 rounds left, and Kovalev certainly has that punch...

Kov must be a piñata, cause you've seemed to have pinned his penis on his naval.

The subject was about shots on the navel, and I showed two examples of clearly low shots well below the navel.
I was not making any excuses of any kind in my post, I was simply rebutting his statement.
Yet you come along and instead of contributing anything useful, or giving a good argument, you spew the same ****** statement about butthurt girls giving excuses. Very mature on your part, a real contribution.Last edited by Vlad_; 07-06-2017, 10:28 PM.

Look at Kovalev, not too many if any saw weaknesses or gave Ward a winning chance before Ward fought him, now the blue print has been made.
The fact that they're calling Bellow out at cruiserweight is telling because that's not a tough fight for Andre and Andre stating "we would move up but only for the right fight" is telling as well.
Paquia, Cotto, Mayweather, JMM are just four active fighters that have better scalps on their resume than Andre Ward does.
Abel Sanchez stated well before Kovalev-Ward I that Sergey crumbled from body shot by Trip G in sparring session and Abel also revealed that after the body shot, Sergey didn't want to spar further to which JDJ addressed "Sergey is friends with the guy and didn't want to go all out" which is lame. I wouldn't be surprised is JDJ had talked about Sergey likeing to drink as Virgil stated and revealing quite a bit more about him.
Kovalev was also dropped by Boone and his body type is lean for a light heavy, maybe because he drops so much to make weight but nonetheless, he has the type of body Andre would target for body attack.
People can debate whether or not Andre Ward and his people fight dirty or not, etc......etc.....but one thing I think is quite clear is that Andre and Virgil do their homework in scouting fighters and potential matchups.
In regard to the "blueprint" revealed by Andre in taking Sergey out, that remains to be seen if others are successful. Wasn't a cakewalk for Andre and he is a top tier fighter; I think Sergey that lost the rematch probably beats any other light heavyweight in the world beside Andre. Remains to be seen if Sergey gets his confidence back and I think getting him back in the ring soon is important and I think getting him a new team is as well.

Can't blame Andre Ward for hitting low because if the ref isn't calling it and your opponent is getting broken down with it then keep hitting him there. Yes. The ref should've called it but Sergey, claiming how he was going to "end Ward career" before the rematch and also stating before first fight, "if he fight dirty I going to kick him" should've retaliated in kind and lived up to his talk and his nickname of "Krusher." Thing is however, I don't even think his trainers prepared him correctly to counter the body attack and I think they may have actually encouraged Sergey to complain to the ref.
All the hoopla about Ward and Kovalev but this was a tough fight for Ward and Sergey took a terrible beating to the body and still fought; he just got beat by the better fighter.
