That doesn't sound like he is saying Ward won by low blows.
Barrera says Ward will do anything to get an advantage and that he was hitting low. I think you have to read between the lines. Fighter's have to be careful what they say. Vegas is the place they want to fight. Most aren't going to bite the hand that feeds them.

How low they are. Agreeing to fight with your fists with a man and agreeing on not punching on certain areas and then just breaking the agreement and calling it sweet science. Bit2chery.
Low blows from a body puncher is as old as boxing itself! The great ones know how to respond, especially when the ref is not doing his job!

There are a lot of rough fighters throughout history. Chavez Sr. hit low. B-Hop led with his head all the time! Roberto Duran won "by any means necessary." Mike Tyson used elbows! There's a reason that the thumb is tucked in modern boxing! Ward (and Salido) is not the first rough fighter, and won't be the last! What Kov and Loma need to learn is how to handle a fighter of that caliber!

Kov was looking for an exit strategy! I still think it was a bad stoppage but Kov was finished! I just can't understand how he wasn't prepared for Ward's style...TWICE!

You don't have to read between the lines. Especially when a fighter says

That's pretty clear that he felt the right hand finished a tired Kovalev.

                  right
Being accused of being an alt by Larry three times on my first day here, then the following weeks I had people calling me Freedom's, Spoon's and then Maxi's alt.

No, I am nobody's alt. But you and the rest who think so, please, I dare you, all of you, to report me every day on every single post I make, report me to the mods and accuse me of being an alt until I get banned, which won't happen. But you're welcome to keep playing that game.

Quite frankly it's extremely annoying, because I would actually prefer debating boxing with you guys like grown ups.

They handled the caliber fine. Just not the ball shots. It was wrong when the other fighters did it too. However, I agree that they have to deal with it. The dirty a$$ sport of boxing clearly doesn't **** about sportsmanship. So a fighter must do what he must do.

Kovalev always has a puncher's chance, and Ward blew all his energy in the 8th. Here he is after the stoppage, and looks extremely tired.

🙄 How far and abstracted from reality do u have to be to suggest there was a glimmer of hope for Kovalev cause Ward depleted his tank in the 8th. The 8th was his most powerful/definitive round in which he stopped Kov.

So if you feel that works against Ward, then how bad of a predicament was Kovalev in , in the 8th round ? You do realize that u can't just gauge Wards tank without gauging Kovalev's too right ? So if Ward was spent, then Kovalev was:

"Dearly departed, we've gathered here today..............."

Do u proof read before u hit submit ?
