He literally cut off the ring whenever he wanted to and stood in front of him like "hey, I can hit you right now if I felt like it". Horn on the other hand befuddled him at times with what appeared to be slower foot speed than Chris. A clear sign of what aging has done to him. It'd be a great fight regardless, especially with the more offensive Algieri we saw bully Amir Khan.
Manny was shell shocked. His whole team was shell shocked. It was the perfect storm. Jeff was a huge underdog, fighting on the ultimate adrenaline rush of fighting in front of 50,000 Australians with absolutely nothing to lose. They had zero respect for this guy. Jeff had nothing to lose and everything in the world to gain. And then age FINALLY catching up to Manny -- for the first time I thought he started to look old in the fight against Vargas, and he looked EVEN OLDER in this fight. It's been a steep ass decline from Pacquiao/Bradley 3. Dude has seemingly damn near fell off a cliff.

Add those ingredients together and you have the outcome of Saturday night.

By the way, why on earth isn't Manny throwing combinations anymore? How does one forget how to throw combinations? Is it the fact that his hand speed has diminished so much to the point where he doesn't have any confidence in being able to execute them without getting nailed with a counter in return? There wasn't one single vintage Pacquiao combination in the fight against Horn. Hell if I recall correctly there wasn't one in the Vargas fight, either.

That's what you want because you hate Pacquiao and for some reason love Horn. I like Pacquiao and hate dirty fighting Horn. I want Pacquiao to get his rematch on neutral ground with 3 good judges who aren't paid off and a good neutral referee who enforces the rules. When it comes to legal boxing skills I don't think Horn is anything special and I don't think he ever will be. In a fair fight I think Pacquiao, Bradley, Garcia, Spence, Vargas, and Porter would all beat him. Enjoy Horn while you can. If he fights any of these guys on neutral ground he will lose in my opinion.

Manny has a rematch clause. If Manny wants the rematch Horn is contractually obligated to fight him next. So he doesn't have a choice in the matter without getting sued over it or maybe paying off Manny. Doesn't seem worth the trouble to me to fight some non-big money fight next over Manny. Manny II IS the big money fight for him.
