Jeff Horn should not rematch Pacquiao yet, fight Algieri first

I wanted Horn to get in a fight or two while pacquiao heals his cuts and gets older so horn can knock manny out cold.

Horn needs to learn more he is still green, i say let him fight chris algieri and tim bradley to defend his belt, build up his experience and get some defenses in so he isnt a flash in the pan and build his confidence up.

After that he should fight pacquiao end manny, and fight marquez, and jessie vargas, build up his resume. And then fight sam eggiton or kell brook he doesnt need to leave austrslia he is the new cash cow there.

I said before this fight that I feel Algieri would outbox him. After last weekend I'm not so sure. One thing I will say is you can't compare the two performances vs Manny because he looked phenomenal against Algieri. He literally cut off the ring whenever he wanted to and stood in front of him like "hey, I can hit you right now if I felt like it". Horn on the other hand befuddled him at times with what appeared to be slower foot speed than Chris. A clear sign of what aging has done to him. It'd be a great fight regardless, especially with the more offensive Algieri we saw bully Amir Khan.

Does anyone really want to see Horn fight Algieri? Would that sell? Horn is simply not that good and if he tries to build up his resume fighting guys like Jessie Vargas Algieri...etc he'd most likely lose and then his 15 minutes will be all over. He should try to get a rematch with Pac cause he'd make some serious cash.

Dude Horn is a star in Australia, he is now known in the USA, Pacquiao Horn is talked about big time.

All they have to do is build up Horn on ESPN and people will tune in to see him lose, and let him fight in Australia infront of 40 thousand the guy then comes to USA and ESPN hypes up his US debut this guy is a star trust me on that.

he will be the future cash cow and when they are ready to unify that fight against thurman or spence will be a million buys ppv.

LOL so manny keeps on fighting til 41?? He'd probably lose next time against horn level popularity boxers.
Then there goes horn's chance to even further his status and clear the controversy down the drain.
And besides imm rematch clause dnt work that way.
Imo he's ready and even more confident to take pac again, if pac comes even lesser than he did which is likely since he's even older, a lot worse could happen.

Future cash cow??? It's not that easy to build him up when he's simply not that good to begin with. Put him in the ring with guys like Algieri or Vargas and he could very well lose and then the hype is gone. If he goes after a rematch with Pac he's going to get a HUGE paycheck.

It's bad enough that Horn is, undeservingly, walking around with the belt. We don't need to see Chris Algieri calling himself a welter weight champion now.
