People are right that the UK goes OTT with the PC stuff. Seems kinda ****ty for a celebrity with an online following to take a photo of someone on the street so as to mock them for their appearance. I don't think he should be fined, banned or arrested but it's probably the 200th or 300th time BJS has seemed like a bit of a twat.

I get that the PC brigade can be heavy handed and counter productive, but some of these posts sound like people think the concept of a more tolerant society is a bad thing.

I have no desire to return to the good old days of people being discriminated against because of their race, sex or sexual orientation. We need to lighten up and it can get pedantic but I do think we're heading in the right direction by basically encouraging people to behave less ****ty to someone who's different in some way.

I don't think the principal behind freedom of speech is to give licence to people to spout any vile **** that enters their head.

I don't believe in censorship and think when something is said humorously without peddling intolerance or without bad intentions then we should get a grip and not fall over ourselves pretending to be offended. But you cant go around saying nasty hateful ****e and hiding behind freedom of speech.
If I started dropping the N word on here some folks, quite rightly, would lose their ****ing minds and I'd get a ban in no time.
Not saying bjs is being particularly hateful here, just an ignorant d1ck. But let's get away from this notion that anyone who disagrees with it being ok to treat someone differently based on sex or race etc is a butt hurt pansy. Can't it just be wanting everyone to get a fair shake.
