Roach is right, rematch with Horn. Then maybe a farewell fight with a credible but not top class opponent.

We'll see. It's the end of an era. Enjoy them now Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto, they will be gone soon.
There have been nothing left to enjoy with those 3 for the last years.

Manny is on a glofiried cashing out retirement tour since the Floyd fight.

Same for Floyd, and Cotto is looking for opportunities to do the same.

HELL, even Floyd vs Manny looked more like a glorified sparring session btw two old legends than a real competitive fight with 2 elite guys wanting to win badly.

PAC should have farewell fight in Philippines as treat to Filipinos.
He's always given home advantage and has been fair game to be robbed. But that loss to horn won't tarnish his legacy it is what it is.
Just 5 losses looks worse than 4. 6 losses looks worse than 5 losses

Do it somewhere different -- like Madison Square Garden or some ****. That is if a rematch actually does take place.

Pac complaining about home town advantage; the last time an aussie fought Pac in the Philippines this is what happened. Don't do it Jeff lol

That was very prude advice coming from Freddie Roach. Obviously, he cares about the long term effects, fights like these could have on Pac's health later in life. Thirty eight years old is not the same as twenty eight years old.

If he struggled against an unknown, second tier, overmatched, overachieving and limited underdog in Jeff Horn, then what makes him believe that he would be even be remotely competitive against the likes of a Keith Thurman, Terence Crawford and Errol Spence, Jr?

As I said before, a primed Pac would have mopped the floor with this bum several years ago but Father time is undefeated and he can no longer do the things in the ring that he once was capable of doing.

At his age you can't be getting out of congressional duties at 10:00pm then go train. The body needs proper rest and recovery even more as we get older.

Have one more fight in the Phillippines and call it a day. Just make sure to cut Arum out of the picture. That crooked snake shouldn't get any more of Pac's money.

Not unusual for aging greats to fight B level type fighters on their way out.

We definitely have plenty of the new era stars to look forward to now and in the future, boxing is in great hands for the future. I also appreciate what the aging stars have done and given us as well. I don't have an issue with what they are doing, they will be retired very soon so I just remember and enjoy while I can.

A new era has already been ushered in. It's time for the old guard to take a step back. Manny will always be a legend and one of the very greatest fighters this sport has to offer. Rematch Horn, and then hang then up.

Roach is right. I think he can still win a rematch over Horn but that should be it. The truth is he looked bad against a very weak opponent. Any top welterweight beats the hell out horn. Time to retire
