What has this guy ever accomplished?

Surely hes not as deserving as gerald washington and johan duhapaus, how dare whyte and hearn offer wilder a career high payday and a fight. They need to get on eric molina and chris arreolas level first.

Ortiz doesnt line up with Wilder ..hes already declined him once and made excuses about peds and such despite fighting guys or trying making fights who also were caught.Thers simply no way he would take less money and less attention fight with Joshua around the corner.

Really hoping whyte gets it now bc posters who write him off dont know what they are talking about or wilder fanboys bc they dont want to beleive that it will be his best opponet so far....which it would be.

Something just doesnt add up with wilder. He is content with fighting guys like molina, washington etc for around 1mil per fight. But he doesnt seem to want a career high payday against another easy fight like he claims. Makes no sense.

Then how long is Eddie Hearn is going to hide Anthony Joshua away from Deontay Wilder? After the Klitschko rematch, Hearn is discussing potential bouts with Tyson Fury, Kubrat Pulev, David Haye and Shannon Briggs. However, what about Wilder? No one ever mentions his name; Much less as a potential opponent for AJ?

So yeh, 2 mentions about Wilder fighting Joshua in the last month alone that had articles and topics on this very site (strange how those were missed?). Nobody says his name though...

That said, you obviously will not find anywhere near as many articles of Joshua (or his mouthpiece Hearn) calling out Wilder as you will Wilder calling out Joshua... mainly because Joshua isn't the type to run his mouth non-stop.

Wilder doesn't have to audition for a fight with Joshua. Wlad doesn't want the fight in the UK. If Wlad doesn't do the rematch, they say that Joshua's mandatory is Pulev. Pulev??? Really? How did he become a mandatory? Oh he beat Maurice Harris, Chisora, Sam Peter and Kevin Johnson. So Joshua would rather fight Pulev instead of Wilder who owns a trinket as well. Joshua paid the trinket holder Martin 8 mil and paid Brazeale to come to the UK, but won't pay Wilder his biggest threat.

Joshua has no choice, that is generally what mandatory means. And no, unification does not trump mandatory when the governing body involved have clearly outlined that no unifications can happen prior to the Pulev fight. Let's not let facts get in the way of your rhetoric though eh?

It's like you all want to totally ignore that Joshua has contractual obligations and thus a Wilder fight cannot happen right now. Feel free to bring up Hearn protecting Joshua from Wilder if there comes a time when Joshua has nothing in his way stopping him from making a Wilder fight but chooses not to... until then you're just being fanboys.

Ortiz is a Haymon fighter these days, no way does Haymon throw Wilder in with him whilst Ortiz is also the WBA mandatory to Joshua. He would literally be throwing money away to do that so I can't say it's unreasonable if Wilder doesn't fight Ortiz. Even if as a boxing fan it's a fight i'd like to see.

he's unbeaten and wouldn't mind him getting a shot at the strap ( I know he's fighting Parker In Sept ) maybe after it becomes a unification and it'd be a fight to see if Hughie belongs among the top 5 HW

And I'm a fan of Hughie and Wilder so Id be interested in how it played out.
