      So did that pro golfer
then both of them got beaten into retirement and Brewster in the rematch almost got beaten to death

No it's not a stretch. Whyte's hype and claim to fame is a big mouth and getting knocked silly by Anthony Joshua.

Wilder's wins and competition have not been great but they are much better than Whyte's. Not even debatable.

Don't care for a Whyte fight. He sucks. I need to see Wilder in with better opposition than that in his next fight.

Wilder being a cherry-picking, royal ducker is becoming old news. The WBC needs to step in and order Wilder to face his mandatory, and cease accepting the unethical step-aside money to look the other way while Wilder keeps shooting his mouth off and doing zero to back it up.
The tragedy is a little reminiscent of Adonis Stevenson, who most boxing fans recognise as having talent, but is seemingly content to grind out the rent rather than challenge himself, put his name on the line, and restore some excitement back into the division.
Why can't Wilder simply see that people want to see him in the ring with someone who's worthy? Isn't that called 'competition'?
What Wilder has done is just face guy's he knows he will beat, we know he'll beat, it's boring, damages the already terrible reputation the HW division has. It's sunk back into a farce with the minor exception of Parker who is a least busy. After what seemed like an age, the long-awaited resurgence and emergence of talent materialised about 3-4 years ago, and once again boxing fans are being slapped in the face.

LMAO.. Just go on his social media timeline and see how he was sooo active on social media calling everyone out.. He was getting into arguments with Fury, calling out AJ and Whyte.. But the moment Whyte made a genuine offer he went AWOL lmao.. He literally didn't post anything on social media for over a week lolol and even now Whyte keeps going at him but Wilder's still hiding. I've said it for ages, Wilder is all talk! He loves to call people out on social media, and his fans always say look Wilder wants to fight everyone. Fights don't get made by social media callouts.. They get made by real offers sent by your team! Wilder thought he can fool everyone by just calling out all the top heavyweights but fighting all the bums.. Whyte called his bluff and he got shook. FACT!

I've been saying this for a long time. Bum Squad talks a good game, but his actions never back up his words. The man is a joke and an embarrassment to the sport.

How can boxing flourish in the US with these types of champions? They demand huge money for easy fights. This guy would have wanted $20 million for an aging Klitschko. Embarrassing indeed.

This has been going on for years now. Used-to-be-hungry fighters became domesticated and now fights once a year. It's what encouraged Quillin to give up his belt. And then there's Stevenson, Thurman, etc. are now rarely seen.

If Wilder signs to fight someone worse than Whyte, I'll be the first to give him crap. Now if he signs to fight someone better than Whyte what are the chances these folks grudgingly give respect?
