Comments Thread For: Al Bernstein Rips Stephen A. Smith For Mocking Horn's Wins, Foes

Al Bernstein, a Hall of Famer and part of the Showtime Boxing broadcast team, had to cover his ears when ESPN's Stephen A. Smith tore apart Jeff Horn's record during ESPN's live televised broadcast of the Aussie boxer's fight with Manny Pacquiao from Brisbane, Australia.

I agree with Al. But honestly I think ESPN loves the "casual boxing guy" angle so it is what it is.

Ouch! Bernstein putting Stephen A on blast.

That's the thing. They need to make sure Smith is well educated on boxing if they are going to feature him on their broadcasts.

It's true though. I think overall, Smith is around for his personality and nobody really takes him serious when it comes to talking serious about a sport he doesn't know all that much about. The only thing is the brainwash power this can have against those others that don't know much about the sport and will take his information to value.

It's stuff like this that makes the unknown believe when they themselves don't do the actual research to find out the truth.

ESPN should just fire him and take him off the air because he's too loud, smug and very annoying at times. Loud doesn't always mean you're right.
