Smith did a great job. He's right. Bailey won an alpha title against a nobody with lucky punch in a fight he was losing, past his prime against Horn = nobody. Funeka um not really that good. 2017 version of Castillo=a nobody IF he was a spoon fed opponent too. Steven A is accurate not a stellar list of opponents.

SAS is turrible, he doesn't know anything about boxing. He needs to stick to what he knows, something like the NBA.

I agree. Every time I hear Smith talk anything else other than basketball, he sounds like a casual fan, who just state casual facts. That's all good and dandy if you're a fan, but when you're a broadcaster you should be better informed

Yeah while I think it is great having Stephen A covering boxing because it brings more attention to the sport yeah that condescending stuff don't work as well in the sport a boxing. A sport where guys are putting their life and physical well being on the line every time they go out and fight

But Ali Funeka and Randell Bailey are FAR from "NO NAMES" to Hardcores but they're guys on the downside hanging around for checks

Smith's comments were clownish but Funeka was never a "world champion" as the author sez and he was 38 and at least six years beyond when he was a legit contender at lightweight when Horn fought him, while Bailey was 41 and four years removed from beating anyone with a pulse when Horn fought him. Neither are household names (Bailey much close than Funeka)and both were well past it when Horn fought them

Exactly...he gets paid to be a douche on that show, no clue why they would bring him on for boxing or why he would carry that persona over.

"He might have done 5 minutes of research and realized that Bailey only 5 years ago was a world champion and as recently as 6 years ago Funeka fought twice for a world title," Bernstein stated."

That would of been fine if he fought them then but he fought them in 2016! And Funeka LOST every time or drew when it came to his major title fights.

AND BOTH were like 40 years old!!!
