Agreed it's time to put away the gloves for good. He should take a good look at the health of his trainer who admitted that part of his mental problems came from boxing too long. You can't be a part time boxer at the elite level. Your going to get hurt and it may be permanent. Roach should refuse to train Manny if he cares about him.

Except Bradley wasn't #2. Not universally anyway.

You can't fight for an open lineage coming off a loss that alone makes no sense.

Pacquaio has enough great accomplishments we don't need to invent make believe ones for him.

When Floyd retired, the WW divison was wide open, as open as a weight class can be. The Lineage STILL hasn't been established two years later.

Missed the fight, had a long day and couldnt stay up.

Glad he lost though. Cant stand Pacquiao. He cherry picked and he lost, embarassing and he should retire before he gets seriously hurt. Thurman or Spence would put him in a coma

People forget how bad Pac looked in the second half of the Vargas fight mainly because he looked good the first half of the fight and scored a knockdown.
Actually you got it twisted.. in the pac--vargas fight.. pac dominated the 2nd half of the fight.. just saying...

Like I said, just on paper. On Paper Manny was no.1 after Floyd retired, and Bradley became No.2. So the Lineal Championship was created after the fight. When Manny retired on april, he vacated the Lineal title.

You have to be universally considered #1 and #2 to fight for a Lineage.

Yeah but it is listed that Pacquiao is a five division Lineal champ. Fly, Feather, SF, LW, Welter.

I think he should get his rematch first but vs the YOUNG LIONS: Spence Jr, Thurman, Crawford...NO CHANCE! Pacquiao looked his AGE last night!

He doesn't seem the kind to walk away on his own accord. Someone will retire him soon.

I thought Pac won the rounds in the second half against Vargas too, but he still looked bad in my opinion. Looked like he kept slowing down gradually.

I thought he dominated the first half, but did just enough to win the rounds in the second half.
