What was just hilarious watching the espn broadcast was inbetween rounds, all the replays were of horn hitting pac cleanly, and while these were playing all teddy was talking about was how horn wasn't landing clean shots, and pacquiao was doing all the good work.

But there didn't seem to be much pacquiao work in the replays.

It was bizzaro world on espn.

I still don't have a problem with it going either way, it was a close fight.

117-111 for either guy is looney toons though.

I was watching on Boxnation who called the fight pretty much spot on, maybe giving Horn a little too much credit, but I think it was more in amazement of how well he was doing and his execution of a good game plan.

I didn't watch any English commentary which is why I probably came away with a better view of the fight than most people.

And yeah, 117-111 was too wide but I can see a couple of swing rounds going to Horn, thus coming out with a card like this.

What cards did you guys have?

I had 7-5 pacquiao but I could see how people gave the fight to horn. 117-111 is awful. Close competitive fight. NO way a robbery. I had to watch the replay and all I read was robbery this and robbery that. after the first two rounds I had horn up 2-0. even the round horn lost he was in them besides round 9 which I scored it a 10-9 for pacquiao. I didn't really consider it a 10-8 cause horn was still landing some good shots in the exchanges.

espn will ride the robbery thing bank on that. And the casuals will cry foul and say it's a robbery and boxing is dead blah blah blah.

I had it 115-113 Horn, have only watched the fight once though. Its one of those fights where there are lots of close rounds. I would have to watch it again to get a more solid perspective. I thought Horn was dictating the pace and controlled the distance better.

Manny was Manny in spots, in bursts, and those with some good left hands won him some rounds. Horn on the other hand was landing with more variety and seemed to affecting Manny with his power more than Manny was affecting him, apart from the 9th where it looked like it might all fall apart. But to his credit he came back and won the 10th, well I say won it, but I think Manny gave it to him as much as he won it.

Not done watching (going into rd 10) but I have only given horn 3 rd's so far. The first, some inbetween rd I can't remember and I think the 6th.

Horn is considerably stronger and his punches much harder, but he's getting outlanded and outscored in clean punching.

I'm shocked that your shocked. You've been here for long enough to know that in any fight that's close the losing side is often going to claim robbery.

There is nothing shocking here and in fact I think there is a fairer claim then usual as I thought Horn made it close and won rounds on many fans cards on activity over landed punches and with wild aggression over superior ring generalship.

And I also think the expectations of each boxer were just below the surface and Horn far exceeded expectations damn near before the first round ended for a lot of people and mighta played into scoring the rounds. Although that's a more speculative opinion.

I thought it was pretty close. Pac clearly wasn't expecting a hard night and Horn outworked him in 10 or 11 rounds. Horn didn't win 10 or 11 rounds, but with a big crowd cheering every punch he threw there was always a chance that the judges were going to be swayed. Obviously Manny's work was cleaner and more precise, but he didn't snap Horn's head back all that often either. Probably will be a lucrative rematch in it for both guys if Pac hasn't retired.

Seems like Pac has an expectation to dominate each and every round, it's not even a question it was clear Pac won, home town decision, those judges were paid. I just hope Pac retires soon since we all know a rematch will be at play.
