If Kovalev thought he could make decent money by Fighting Ward - and the officials - again, I'm sure he'd do it. The guy is 34 yo though, and he's probably thinking about going after some good pay days before he retires, which rules out another fight with Ward.

Kovalev is the biggest joke in boxing right now. I hope he never wins another fight. Overrated too

Of course, that Ward has one of the strongest teams in and out of the ring, but against any team, you don't go all by yourself. And that's exactly what Sergey did.

He had no trainer, no good promoter, no team to look after his interests... You only need to know what happened in the dressing room prior to the fight and that's a minor thing compared to all other weaknesses around him.
I hope he learnt the lesson. If not he will lose again and very soon too.

This wasn't an A side against a B side. This was A+ side against a bunch of nonsense and mess.

Not taking anything from Ward. He deserved a win in the rematch.
Boxing is a business and the team around you these days is just as important as the fighter in the ring if not more so.

Kovalev needs to fight a couple different people and get his head on straight and his confidence back.
