Comments Thread For: Kovalev Says Ward Too Difficult To Beat With Officials on His SIde

Because of "Jay z and Beyonce." Kovalev is a front runner who will quit and look for excuses once he starts getting his ass kicked. I expect more of the same from him against similar opposition.

I suppose he didn't hit back with low blows because he couldn't match Ward in that component anyway like Ward couldn't match him in pure boxing...there is kind of code in Russia about low blows, it is considered outrage not inside game, for such antics you can be fiercely punished and even killed somewhere in the street...so boxers don't spend time mastering low blows there...Look at another russian boxer Kostya Tszyu. Same theme. What happened in England in his Hatton fight when the local fighter was allowed by a local referee to wrestle and low blow him and what Tszyu did to Sharmba Mitchell and Zab Judah in pure boxing match?Leave a comment:

Man, while I definitely think he got punched low several times during that fight, he's whining like a little b1tch and coming up with these ****ty excuses. For real, shut the *** up and act like a man.Leave a comment:

Kovalev has only himself to blame.
Of course, that Ward has one of the strongest teams in and out of the ring, but against any team, you don't go all by yourself. And that's exactly what Sergey did.
He had no trainer, no good promoter, no team to look after his interests... You only need to know what happened in the dressing room prior to the fight and that's a minor thing compared to all other weaknesses around him.
I hope he learnt the lesson. If not he will lose again and very soon too.
This wasn't an A side against a B side. This was A+ side against a bunch of nonsense and mess.
Not taking anything from Ward. He deserved a win in the rematch.
Also I saw a video where a guy from Ward's team was in Kovalev's dressing room checking wraps and he said one of Sergey's gloves didn't fit and they had to wait for a 2nd pair, so it turned out Kovalev had 5 minutes to warm up with his gloves on. Amateur hour!Leave a comment:

If you think you're getting hit low, you can complain to the ref. If the ref doesn't do anything then you've got to answer with low blows of your own. That's pro boxing.
If Kovalev and Jackson went into a Ward fight not expecting to be fouled then the result was a done deal.Leave a comment:

Every poll I've seen has the vast majority of boxing fans on Kovalev's side wether it's about the decision of the first fight or the severity of the low blows in the rematch etc. Ward got the W's but it came at a cost, real rational boxing fans are not fooled by the exterior.
HOLD ON..............
you said..... " rational " boxing fans
how do those fanboy-magnets filter out the clowns ?
those polls are inhabited by whingey/whiney butthurt kids
you should stop reading that shht, fighters see it differentLeave a comment:

Crazy criminally Ward has a small fan base and jay and B have nothing to do with officials judges refs he's losing it going through the steps of lossLeave a comment:

Even if a Russian ref awarded a point taken from Ward twice in Russia due to the refs ignorance, Ward would still win because Kovalev would still have to make it to the twelfth standing, which seems impossibleLeave a comment:
