I knew these two would never fight. I don't think it's either man's fault. Some potential good fights never get made. Loma is at 130 now and Rigo fights at 122. Rigo says he will go to 130 now after years of refusing to go even an ounce over 122. He probably wants to be paid too much to fight at 130.

Honestly this is what happens when you don't bribe and pay off the boxing media like Arum and Oscar do. Rigo has been the most ducked fighter in boxing, by far, since he beat Donaire. Yet Steve Kim, Max Kellerman, Fat Dan, and the rest of the asshats who are always going on about what's wrong with boxing wont even pretend to care. So Loma will shamelessly duck Rigo and the boxing media won't say anything because they're paid by Arum to write puff pieces about Duckoma.

Apparently Salido turned down $720K according to Fat Dan. Lomachenko will fight Marriaga next, which is an awful fight.

I can't see Loma ducking Rigo or anyone smaller. Guy is a 2 time Olympic gold medalist and pure warrior.

I'd love to see this fight though and am still optimistic I'll eventually see it.

May/Mac gets made as a joke fight and they bank!! Meanwhile these 2 amateur legends can't get paid a few million to fight each other. May/Mac happening and this fight not happening is indicative of the sorry state of boxing today.
