Pac had special type speed.....now just great speed..

When you have special type speed/quickness like Pac, Allen Iverson etc, when you slow down you go from 8 punch combinations to 4 punch combinations to occasional flurries to pot shots. Pac can still real off 4 punch combinations as of his last fight and still has tremendous foot speed. Even Floyd said he was amazed at how fast Pac could bounce in. I don't know how much punishment his body will allow him to take but he's still a gifted fighter. Also since the fourth fight with Marquez I actually think he's become a better boxer and more defensive minded.

You don't look old against fighters you're supposed to beat and really have no business being in the ring with you. Rios, Vargas, and Algieri were fighters that really shouldn't have been in the ring with Manny although at least Vargas had a belt. Despite the loss to Bradley everyone knew that Tim was never on the same level as Manny. And now we're at Jeff Horn, another guy that shouldn't be in the ring against Manny. You can look good as long as the matchmaking is good.

He boxes better now. He may have had that in him all along, but now he's trying harder not to walk into bombs. He's still fun to watch.
