Manny is the most scrutinized fighter in the game, you have to ask whether it's a race thing. He is nearly 38 and still putting on these events for his fans. He is FAR removed from his best yet people want him in there with Thurman or Spence etc. The dude is entitled to fight who he likes I hope he beats Horn and people start showing some respect.

It's crazy to think that many thought Pacquiao had reached his best following his win over Morales in their third fight. Even commentators stated it in his fight following Morales. Who would of thought he'd have an entire 2nd career spanning the welterweights?

Most people only know or remember Pacquiao for his welterweight accomplishments, but I followed him when he was a true madman at featherweight and the 4 kings as we called them, Pacquiao, Morales, Barrera, and Marquez. At the time, Marquez being the oddman out of the exciting fights between Morales, Pac, and Barrera.

Also nutty to think that Pacquiao would be KO'd nearly 10 years after fighting Marquez for the first time.

Anyways, those are the great times I remember Pac at his finest. Everything else has been a bonus.

Yes, Manny gets criticized for fighting Jeff Horn while Mayweather gets a pass for fighting Conner Mcgregor.

Pacquiao Is asked to fight the top guys In his division while Floyd gets a pass because "he Is retired"

Pacquiao's resume Is criticized because he fought certain fighters that were coming off of a loss, yet 19 of Floyd's 49 opponents were coming off of a loss.

Yes I agree with you, when pac was fighting at the smaller weight classes it was almost insane to even mention his name as an opponent to floyd, cotto, hatton , de la hoya. That just showed how great he really is.

Please name one fighter other than pac who doesn't cut weight before fights. He has to eat 8000 calories to keep his weight up and eat breakfast before weigh-ins...plus he gives up height,reach,weight and age advantage all the time.

In his PRIME he decided he was scared of needles, and the Floyd fight didnt happen because of the PED tests, he hasnt had ONE ko since PED testing. he's fought rios, algeri, vargas, HE'S SUPPOSED TO LOOK GOOD VS THOSE OPPONENTS...Why isnt he trying to fight the other champions? He's been protected and intelligently matched vs opponents by Arum....He couldve fought Broner, which wouldve made more money, because that is PPV. He could've fought TC over every one of those previous opponents, but he didnt, because they knew those opponents would be too much for him...He's still a good fighter, but he's not PED pac anymore (but there is no drug testing in place for this fight, so I expect a KO) and they will say he's ready for floyd
