People need to realize that there is much more that goes into negotiations than picking a weight. It's not like there is a stock contract where they just fill in the weight and guys sign. I doubt it will be put together this quickly, if it ever does. If Bob wants to get maximum exposure, have Loma fight someone on ESPN this summer to continue to increase his exposure then in the fall put on a double header PPV with Pacquiao vs Crawford and Loma vs Rigo. Should be enough money there to satisfy everyone.

Nah, cuz #48 wont ever fight Bud & Rigo wont be able to move up much at all so we need the fight now.

Damn Razor, is there a reason why you don't like me, or is it because I don't like Andre Ward? Of course I want to see this fight, I simply reposted the pic that Loma put up on his Twitter yesterday to stir **** up a bit. If this fight happens I will definitely be happy.

I don't have a problem with you (God Bless You), I just like facts so when I see something that doesn't fit or make sense I jump on it cuz I have been in that ring & I try to keep it 100.

This doesn't make sense to me. If Rigo's "main objective" is getting a fight with Loma, and Loma's manager has said they will fight him at 130 .. then how does that put the ball in Loma's court?

Really want to see this fight so hope I'm wrong but how often has Rigo wanted a fight and then asked for ****** money, the article says hes willing to fight at 130 for the right terms. Until there's an actual back and forward between promoters to see what hes after its that flaky a statement he might as well said for the right money he would fight Joshua at heavyweight.

Unless they do that, the fight won't happen, because Arum certainly isn't going to contact them. Rigo, or maybe Rigo's team, are not exactly Arum's favourite people!

Lara didn't really want to fight GGG for the kind of money he could realistically expect to get for it. And, imo, the same thing applies to Rigo with Loma.

Rigo is a great little fighter, but nobody is going to give maybe 8/10lbs away to a guy like Loma and beat him.

In the lower divisions, the money just isn't there to pay Rigo what he would want - and deserve - for moving up two divisions and taking an L.

Does Rigo have a real chance at beating Loma? Yes. Will Arum let anyone who isn't signed with him and who might win fight Loma? No. It has been proven hundreds of times over the decades and nothing has changed.

It would be ****** for Arum to talk to angry people with chips on their shoulders.
If he initiates the talks he would be confronted with tons of demands as if Loma
was the one who started the twitter exchanges.
There is not even a motivation to do it as the guy can't draw flies.
Casuals don't like him. Only hardcores most of which are the usual people asking for free streams.

Even then I was surprised when Arum offered to make the fight in 2015
only to be cursed and called all sorts of names when they themselves were
the ones who set their price, which was $500K.

Funny thing is Klimas all of sudden is saying he's just a manager and they need to go through Top Rank to make the fight but yet he's the one talking to Robert Garcia about making a fight between Loma and Mikey. We all know there's no way of Arum allowing a Loma/Mikey fight but it hasn't stopped Klimas from talking to Robert. Klimas a well aware that Arum would never make a fight with Rigo again so he tells them to negotiate with Top Rank so he won't get blamed for the fight not happening. Loma will fight another Top Rank fighter or some lower lever fighter from a small promotional company.
