Say what?? Broner already has two losses.

Arum made him pay for trying to get out of the contract.

But I'm glad Mikey is free now and can be his own man.

I heard something interesting that Broner said. He said "Give me all of Mickey's opponents & I'll be undefeated" & Broner is undefeated at 140. I always said that Mickey was too big for them boys at 130 & 135 & if Broner loses he is done so lets see what happens.

^^^i agree 100%...it's good to be confident but mikey is sounding arrogant these days

good fighter but when your best win is roman martinez, i think his assumption of being "would've been a huge star" is a lil over the top

Yes, I agree that Garcia was beating Salido until the stoppage.

But look at how Salido wins fights; it's almost always a long, grinding, wear-the-opponent down style.

Watch Garcia's body language in the corner. He didn't want to continue. He could have continued but didn't want to. He was starting to tire and wasn't confident that he could continue to keep Salido off him. A little bit of insight into his psyche that will re-emerge at some point.

I accept others won't agree or see it like that. No problem.

I do agree that salido seemed to be coming on and probably would've made it more interesting. I just think that due to Mikeys size, youth and skill, he would've weathered it and eventually put salido away.

Yes, all those factors you mentiion were in Garcia's favour, and the reasons he was winning the fight up until that point.

His behaviour in the corner, obviously not wanting to continue, is what put the doubts in my mind about his will and determination when those assets just aren't enough and the fight is about to get rough.

                  Thanks for your perspectives.
