    Hagler: Not That Good

Not that good and reminds me a lot of Winky Wright.

    Think about it...

Haglers best win, Hearns...a guy that was way out of his weight (SSM). If Hearns was a natural Middleweight, Hagler would have been out like a light. Didn't Hearns have a weight issue for that fight anyway?

Duran started at what, 124? Hagler was losing going into the 13th. Barely won!

SRL, legit beat Hagler. Kinda of reminds me of how Williams did Winky. I've seen that fight 20x and being a New Englander I thought Hagler won until I got older and started competing. Once I knew how to score, Hagler loses every time.

    Mugabi? Green, who cares!

The rest of those Hamsho type cats, nobody cares.

McCallum, I know he wasn't a mid but he sure as *****t would have met the weight and had a great shot.

Facts: Hagler just wasn't that good against guys his own size.

He never came back cuz he knew the jig was up.

I don't understand the amusement people get out of trolling. It's such a waste of time and space and energy for everyone.

I will go to my grave remembering Hagler as a great middleweight. You can always hand pick one fight to discredit a great fighter. Duran gave him a harder fight than expected but Hagler would have beaten him easier in a rematch. If you want to make Duran look bad hand pick his fight with Hearns. If you want to make Leonard look bad hand pick his KO loss to Camacho. If you want to make Sugar Ray Robinson look bad hand pick his loss to unranked Ralph Jones. Hagler only needed 3 rounds to beat Hearns and I thought he beat Leonard as did about half the fans who saw the fight. There was a reason Leonard refused to give Hagler a rematch. Hagler was deadly in rematches. He had a few rematches and he always won them much quicker and easier than the first fight.Hagler had a lot of wear and tear on him by the time he fought Leonard because Hagler was a real fighting champion. He went to war against all the very best middleweights 4 times a year. What champion other than Hagler defends their title 4 times a year against the best and highest ranked challengers? Nobody. Hagler was a special champion and a great warrior who gave all the top contenders a shot at his title.

Hilarity. Did you learn how to score body punching when you got older?

Yea really! Williams was moving up and clearly won the fight against an old Winky, like Ray. Hagler was old when SRL got him.
