This isn't the first time that the Garcia family has overreacted with glee over the innocent death of a young black man. Robert Garcia did it several years ago over the death of Trayvon Martin.

That one's pretty blatant. If I had to play devil's advocate, I'd assume the cop thought his license would be in his pocket where your wallet typically is. When he turns around without saying anything and reaches into the car, the cop thinks he's retrieving a weapon. The fact that the cop kept shooting after the guy has his hands in the air amounts to attempted murder.

My advice after watching this video would be to verbalize all of your actions to an officer. If he asks you for your license, tell him that it is in your car, and ask him for permission to reach back in the car. You never know when you're going to run into a bad cop. It's best to always exercise caution.

It seems that you think a concealed carry license implies that you can dig around in your car without having to worry about an officer's orders. Castile's license to carry a gun is irrelevant. He went about informing the officer the wrong way. Why would he tell him he had a gun in the car when he's digging in his pocket for his ID? You don't see how that might look su****ious?
