It's probably not wise to tell a cop you got a gun in the car when you're digging in your pocket for your wallet. He was basically DOA when he made the choice to tell the cop he had a gun in the car with his hand in his pants. Cop was bad at his job but there's probably a lot of cops that have died the same way. You just won't read about it in the news because it doesn't fit the ******* agenda.

According to this article, the state of Minnesota has issued over 260,000 concealed carry licenses that are valid. The state of Minnesota also has reciprocity with 15 other states, meaning citizens with valid CC licenses from those states can also legally carry in Minnnesota.

In other words, a cop in Minnesota encountering an (legally) armed citizen is not some rare occurrence. And any cop in Minnesota who becomes 'scared' and shoots said armed citizen after being informed that they are legally authorized to carry AND announce they have said firearm on their person (like Philando Castile did) is way beyond just 'bad at their job'. Period.

One guy gets his ass beat, pulls out his strap, and blows the other guy's head off. This happens 2-3 times per day in Chicago. No one cares though. I wonder why.

Is this the guy that was shot and his girlfriend was live on facebook? If so yeah i cannot support that shit. That was an inexperience police officer who saw a black guy who just informed him he has a gun on him. What i hate about that video was the way the officer kept treating his girlfirend like dirty. And the fact that the man was dying and all they could do was point a gun at him still even after shooting him multiple times, after seeing a little girl in the back seat and after seeing a screaming/hysterical lady next to him.

This actually makes me want to cry. So he calmly informed the officer that he has an arm weapon on him, but what was the driver reaching for? Because he already gave the officer his licence from the video that i saw.

It seems like that cop overreacted badly. Dude was scared for no reason. Philando told him he had a gun why would he then try to shoot him with it? It doesn't make sense. Cop was shook.

It seems like your best bet when dealing with cops is to stay frozen or they'll think you're reaching for something and get shot.

Don't even try to scratch you nose or they'll fear for their lives.

Yeah maybe it's due to inexperience. He did overreact doe. At the end of the day we all enforce some type of stereotype in our heads.

Am sure if he was dressed in a suit and tie he might still be alive right now.

That was the most pathetic display of cowardice I've ever seen. Apparently your police have a habit of running away from trouble. And yes they had to eventually summon up the courage to hurt the man to subdue him and it only took about 30 of them.
