Comments Thread For: Bob Arum: Blame Me if Pacquiao-Horn Isn't a Competitive Fight!

The Hall-of-Fame promoter pushed for this welterweight title fight to take place after watching Horn win against Ali Funeka from a ringside seat December 10 in Auckland, New Zealand. Horn (16-0-1, 11 KOs), a big underdog who's essentially anonymous among American boxing fans, survived a third-round knockdown to stop South Africa's Funeka (39-6-3, 31 KOs) in the sixth round on the Joseph Parker-Andy Ruiz undercard six months ago.

I blame Arum for a lot but this is on Team Pacquiao. He's not some unknown avoided fighter. He easily could have gotten a fight that was tolerable. He and his team took the fight so screw them.

Good money for a walk in the park cant blame them.

Arum and Manny both know its safer to fight Horn for lower money and win, than to fight TC Thurman Spence and lose. Arum has done this very same sht all the way with Manny, the moment Manny went to 140 the shenanigans started, and the shenanigans have always been in the match making of Manny.

Nothing new here with Arum and Team Pac.

He obviously enjoys what he does if he has gone for this long and because he is still going at this age my guess is he will keep going until some sort of health issue prevents him from continuing
