Boxing needs a guy like Joe Smith but Smith is so boring and dull

Smith has to start talking tough then backing it up by violent wins starting in July. America needs clean cut handsome guys like Smith as role models in boxing but wins have to be there also. Boxing ignores the talented Andre Ward who cannot sell tickets so Smitty has a tough row ahead to get attention. GGG cannot sell tickets either or Lomo. Joe Smith ought to get arrested or get a DUI to get popular.

lol, Hopkins pride took a thumpin when he got knocked out of the ring. Smith gets full props from me. Sure Hopkins was inactive for two years and almost 95 years old, but Smith made sure that he wouldn't get robbed on the cards, which may have been about to happen looking at those scores. Smith ended Hopkins career emphatically, good for him. Nobody was giving him any respect before the fight, and many still don't. If he destroys Barrera too, you can't not put him in the top four or five.

Honestly he should be taking his anger out on his promoter. Joe should have had a fight already and be looking for bigger profile fights than Barrera. Joe had a very good 2016 knocking out Fonfara in 1 and Hopkins out in style and that year was the start of a good momentum swing but his 2017 momentum is nonexistent.
