I've been saying this that Kovalev should move up to Cruiserweight. He's been at 175 his whole career and part of his exhaustion was making 175. This is not an excuse, Ward was the better fighter June 17th and I feel Ward was on his way to a likely knockout victory.

But Cruiserweight is the move for Kovalev to finish his career.

Virgil Hunter training Kovalev would be strange, but I think they can work together. Though a 3rd fight with Ward would most likely be out of the question in the distant future if Kovalev is being trained by Hunter.

Confession is always good for the soul. I told y'all Kovalev was a liar and a loser. At first he blamed his poor conditioning on Ward's low blows but now he is stating the obvious truth.

He lied. He wasn't hurt due to any low blows. He was just worn down physically to the point of exhaustion due to Ward's relentless body assault and decided to mentally check out. He feigned those low blows in order to get a breather and to keep Ward off of him.

That's why he sat on those ropes in order for Tony Weeks to call a halt to that bout because he was a broken fighter who was looking for a way out. Finally the truth has come out now.

        The fake mutha!

He got this far all by himself now needs a specialist. He first has to humble himself that all he has and it is a great set of assets

I've been saying for awhile that I think cruiserweight would be a good move for Kovalev. I don't see anybody in that division beating him. Plus if he jumps up and grabs a cruiserweight belt, a third fight with Ward becomes more attractive, and more realistic to make.

Thank you; You are absolutely correct. He was obviously lying and faking about getting hit with low blows.
