Beterbiev needs more pro experience before trying his hands with Ward imo.
Since Ward has defeated Kov two times, is Beterbiev the new great hope to beat him

I remember when Beterbiev was crashing the LHW scene a few years rolling through Cloud and a few other top ranked guys. I thought he would have reached the top of the division by now, or at least vied for a title.Comment

I don't. Stevenson has no inside game and will basically have a puncher's chance - same as Beterbiev. Gvozdyk is more skilled and has the activity level to keep up with Ward and win rounds. He took care of Chilemba in a much more impressive fashion than anyone else who has beaten him before.Comment

Idk exactly how I feel about Beterbiev but he's definitely a worthy enough opponent. I'd like to see that fight.Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 06-27-2017, 03:34 PM.Comment

To Stevenson's credit, unlike Kovalev, he will fight on the inside for a sustained amount of time I'd like to add. That's one thing about him I actually admire.I don't. They are practically the same age while one has had more of an extensive amateur career. Beterbiev is too green. He needs several more notches and notable opponents under his belt before challenging Ward because Andre is the more experienced and seasoned of the two. All Artur has over SOG right now is power and he is the master of neutralizing that only attribute.Comment
