I just think that Canelo's feet are just too slow in order to evade GGG's firepower. Golovkin is going to be fighting off the front foot pushing Alvarez backwards.

Not only is GGG the heavier handed of the two, but he is also the the busier puncher too. This just doesn't bode well for Saul Alvarez.

He'll have his moments but in the end Gennady's precise and surgical punches shall prevail. I personally don't see Ginger lasting past the sixth round.

Thus, it's irrelevant because this fight against GGG is happening at 160 pounds and Canelo Alvarez has shown no 'skills' at 160 pounds against a top middleweight simply by virtue of having no fights at 160 pounds. He also has no accomplishments at 160 pounds either.

Similarly, Terence Crawford's 'skills' or accomplishments shown below 160 pounds is irrelevant when discussing a potential fight between Crawford and GGG at 160 pounds. Those 'skills' or accomplishments are relevant only if he can show them at 160 pounds as well.

Height and reach are important, but weight is even more important.

GGG is more proven at 160 pounds so he should deserve to be the favorite to beat Canelo Alvarez who is totally unproven.

i agree thats important ,but Jacobs fight in diffrent style ,Canelo is not baseing on his reach and height.

GGG is Favorite for a reason but dont forget that Canelo have expiriance with great boxers ,GGG will fight on this level for the first time.

You think canelo would beat jacobs? Thats not really a sure bet . Bigger than guys like floyd and lara, can move just as well and hits harder than both. Canelo would have his hands full with him.
