you never started making sense
that post fits in nicely with the other dumb **** you say
so..... you disputed that a win over Golovkin will enhance Canelo's standing, along with Mayweather's.....
and then you crawled up your own ass and said this.....
"If it were possible to show that at the time Floyd fought Canelo that Canelo was actually a lot better than everyone thought then it'd be reasonable to elevate Floyd's status"
it Canelo beats Golovkin, he will have proven that
you are simply whining like a b1tch dude

it's all good, keep it up LMAO
Man you're almost as much of a pedant as I am. Undoubtedly the regard in which boxers are held can be adjusted both up (and down, although you appear to contend otherwise) by the subsequent performances of their opponents. In the main this ain't gonna be a big shift since in general if the level of the opponent was correctly judged appropriate credit will already have been given depending on how well said opponent was regarded at the time. It will only change how 'great' a boxer is seen as if it subsequently becomes clear that the level of the opponent - at the time they fought - was either significantly under or over regarded.
