Jermain, one of my favorite fighters of his era...really liked his personality, calmness, and how he liked country music which was odd and so being different made me like him even more. Really sad to think that it may be the head shots that messed him up. He needs help in a facility, not in a prison.

Amazing. This guy was set for life financially with his two fights with Hopkins alone, not to mention all the millions he maid for all his other fights and now is broke. pathetic. And I thought he was the future of the middleweight division for years to come after the B-hop win. When you earn that much money and squander it, you get no sympathy from me.

Right. And, contrarily to JT, he managed to stop getting punched in the head early enough to not get ruined himself. At least, not on the level of Taylor.

Just a few days ago I read that Pavlik is going strong in weight lifting at the moment. Truly curious stuff. He has regained some control on his life, it seems. I was a big Pavlik fan so I'm happy if that is the case. Read:

SALEM—Members of the Salem Community Center have seen them training together for months now. One a boxer and one a powerlifter . Last December, former middleweight boxing champion Kelly Pavlik began training at the center with his personal trainer, Lonnie TK Atkins of Salem. Three hours a day, three and four times a week, the […]

Should have stopped or been made to stop after the Abraham KO. The Pavlik x2 & Froch fights were hard, draining fights. Easy to say now.

Sad to read about the decline of JT who who by all accounts was a real gentleman before this sport took it's toll on him. He does look like a disaster waiting to happen

Crazy and sad to see Jermain fall off...wish he had hung em up after the Abraham KO...

Crazy because I remember the Countdown to Hopkins-Taylor documentary and I believe his mother was a nurse...sad
