To me, Ward is not the #1 p4p fighter in the world... he has the skills and he has the ring IQ... but other than these 2 fights...I've never seen another good fight where he has been involved in... even with Froch it was borinng and ugly! And Andre is such an unlikeable guy ... "SOG" lol... really? Son of God is your self appointed nick name? What a joke... I dislike him very, very much... I don't like his commentary on tv, I don't like his boring (but effective) style. And the sad thing is this.... He LOST the first fight... he did.
I think that if the second fight had continued, he would have KO'd Kovalev... it was kovalev's fault, he's not as smart as Ward and in his mind his trainer is just the mitts guy! Hahahaha
But whatever... I wonder if I will ever see Ward fight again... definitely not in cruiserweight ... boring.

Lol at Ward being an unlikeable guy. He is one if not the most regular down to earth people in boxing. Just because you dislike him very much doesn't mean there is anything at all wrong with him. You don't like his commentary yet the guy is one of the most well spoken and articulate atheletes and sportscasters in the business. I can't think of another athelete that is more articulate than he is. I can understand the criticism of his moniker because religion attracts philosophical debates and conflict. But pretending that the guy is some unlikeable jerk just cause you dislike him is kind of deranged. When it was Floyd Mayweather that everybody loved to hate it kind of made sense because of Floyd's heel character and obvious obnoxious behavior. But Andre Ward is not that at all. And the fact that he gets put in that same frame leads me to believe that this particular criticism has a lot less to do with Andre Ward's personality than it does some of the general stigmas that get placed on African American atheletes. You guys would appreciate Ward more it seems if he was a flashy loud mouth. So I guess Ward is the long since hated in America "uppity negro". It's not hard to read between the lines...

We wouldn't be here discussing all this if Kovalev had been floored as it should after an 8 count... That's the only thing I can think of about Weeks work... He called the legit low blow early but the stoppage was too fast for a fight of that importance... I would have been delighted to witness a true KO...

He owes me an apology! He's stopped a HIGHLY entertaining fight. I was having a GREAT time until he stopped a fight on low blows. I've NEVER seen a fight stopped with the guy still standing from body shots???

Ward stopped Kovalev, end of story. No amount of pouting will change what happened. You can tell by kovalevs immediate reaction to the stoppage that he was done and wanted out at that point in time. It wasn't until interview time that he changed his tune.

Exactly... this is just propaganda from another hurt kovalev fan/Ward hater. Kovalev wasn't defending himself... he was done.
