NHL is getting to be nearly niche.

    We need to get over our little inferiority complex as boxing fans. There's no reason boxing can't be huge again..

      But those big league sports have big revenue and sponsorship behind them. Budweiser, Coors, Miller, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, McDonald's, Dominoes, etc., all shell out big money to advertise during regular season games. Boxing can't get that kind of sponsorship for fights that don't feature household names, of which there aren't many.

            They didn't try all that hard. They spent investor money poorly, i'm sure that Haymon doesn't care one way or another.

            I will say that boxing fans themselves love to wallow in constant negativity, you see it in all sports but it's highlighted with individual competition.

            Funny enough that now with MMA being popular for one generation already, you already hear this sort of talk among that fanbase also, so I guess it's part of the prize fighting game.

              Best year we've has in boxing in a long time. selling out 90k stadiums, fights like May/Mac breaking records.. boxing is not only alive.. its thriving better than previous years.

                We frankly have no idea what PBC has spent, taken in, etc. It's all speculation at this point.

                  If promoters work together instead of double dipping only setting up fights against both fighters from their stable the fights are higher quality and fans will buy into it

                    Perfect example fight of the year candidate GGG vs Canella Haymon Arum etc never do this. We see PAC vs every top rank fighter

                      So many great fights if they cross promote what they will do in increased ppv and volume will make up for cross promoting
