Forget what he did leading up to the Mayweather fight (he was considered one of the five best fighters in the world and had beaten a who's who of 130lbers). Look at what he did after that fight.

Ruined Acelino Freitas.

Lost via controversial TKO to Joel Casamayor then OUTBOXED him in the rematch.

Stopped a great LW in Jose Luis Castillo in the greatest fight I've ever seen.

He wasn't the same after that but Corrales was special in his day. RIP

Too bad you don't know boxing history. During his era, Flynn, Smith, Willard, Miske, Carpentier, Gibbons, Firpo, Sharkey were all considered the best of that era. Long count versus Tunney cost him a win.

Now the guy in your Avatar is celebrating a win during an obviously fixed fight. Two fixed wins over Liston, and he got gifts versus Norton, Young, Shavers, Chuvalo, and fought mostly much smaller over-matched opponents. Lost to a guy with 7 fights and almost lost to Wepner, LOL.

Carpentier was a light heavyweight and none of those fighters you mentioned were great fighters Dempsey was beaten by fat Willie Meehan who was that era's version of Butterbean.



Nobody thinks Dempsey has a better resume than Muhammad Ali unless they have that white sheet over their head that you wear LOL

look at Pacs resume, you can mention Barrera, MOrales, JMM, Bradley, Cotto andn ot even go to his second tier or 3rd tier wins
