Why are you guys so high on Diego Corrales?

Domestic issues screwed Corrales mentally combined with extreme weight struggles.

Just going by the eye test he resembled Ward/Dawson, Hopkins/Tarver and Toney/Jones in the ring. All of them had that characteristic sleepy/sluggish look of a weight drained fighter.

Going by his resume Castillo I and Cotto are much better wins.

On top of that to question Corrales' mental toughness, the nerve with some people. It's like somehow they forget that despite the beating against Mayweather he wanted to continue, or how he begged for an extra round against Casamayor after bleeding profusely from the lips and I need not mention his comeback against Castillo.

However you slice it he beat Castillo, Freitas, and Casamayor. That's 3 elite fighters. Floyd was either a slight favorite or underdog VS Corrales. It was a big fight at the time, and Floyd embarrassed him.

when you have a resume with ancient Mosley, dodgy win over Castillo, close fight over Hatton, rubbish fight against Pac and a longer list of names NOT FOUGHT...then you kinda have to bring up guys like Corrales

look at Pacs resume, you can mention Barrera, MOrales, JMM, Bradley, Cotto andn ot even go to his second tier or 3rd tier wins
