****** logic is that if ward is winning the rd in an even fight, it's okay to low blow because it won't change the outcome of the fight. It's what I've been hearing all this time.

This fight sums up and defines the majority of blacks, esp the way they advocate Ward.

As boxing fans we all deserved a proper ending and that ending was most likely Ward getting the KO.

Ward deserves all of the props In the world for that performance and he deserved to be the center of attention, not Tony Weeks.
I am talking about how views change. You made it seem like me saying it was low to borderline to a little low was impossible to understand.

You are operating on the premise that if the shot is a little low, then its low, and a point should be deducted.
I think it was a judgement call and Weeks judged it was ok.

Ward is the center of attention among unbiased regular people like us. 90-95% of the people focusing on Weeks are alt right/brexit/bigots looking to stir stuff up and make any excuse they can.

IMO The reff should of stopped the AJ - Wlad fight after AJ went down because let's face it, it was the beginning of the end wasnt it? AJ was even more gassed than kovalev, + he was dropped heavily, kovalev was not dropped once.

one thing i cannot stand is when boxing fans justify early or a bad stoppage by saying *this outcome would of happened anyway* so it doesnt matter.

Kovalev is a huge puncher, is it beyond the realms of possibility that he (if rightly awarded 5 minutes to recover from the low blow) could of got his 2nd wind and hurt ward?

As we've seen in the past, guy's have been dropped 3,4+ times, been gasssed, been cut, have one eye closed, have one arm, have broken hands, been on the verge of been counted out and have come back.

so STFU (not you) with this *good stoppage because he would of lost anyway* CRAP

Right on. Anyhing cab change at any second with a punch, and Kovalev certainly has a good one in both hands.

Even fight? Kovalev was in survival mode and getting beat up.

How many times do you fools think a boxer is allowed to punch his opponent below the belt before it counts as a low blow?

Nutcracker Ward threw 3 punches in quick succession which all appeared to land in the same place. The camera only picked up one of them actually making contact, because some fat guy was standing right in front of the fighters obscuring the view of the other two. I think that guy was supposed to be refereeing the fight.
