That punch was right on the belt line, ain't know way in hell Kovalev nuts are that high. Plus if you look at his reaction he grabbed his stomach not his nuts.

If they can't add an inside game to kovalev's (still impressive) right hand, he's done! Other fighters already have the blueprint!
all those excuses about overtraining in the first fight were all lies.... I remember people on this site acting like he really overtrained and thats why he lost the first fight lmfao! Real so called boxing journalists were making excuse for him overtraining for months also.... He gassed out even faster in the rematch because ward started stronger.... Botoxy duva thought she could duck the stevenson purse bid and had a sure win with a soft puncher like ward hahahahah.... Karma it its finest

Somehow Floyd managed to overcome Tony Weeks, Maidana's rabbit punching AND low blows.

I hope they do fight again, so Ward can starch his ass and the usuals can continue crying.

kovalev wanted the fight stopped, he was bend all the way to the mat and his a$$ was on somebody's face on the first row. The guy was broken, done, he bend over and stop defending himself, he should have taken a knee or grab Ward for dear life. But no, he want out and excuses later.

I cannot believe how people can argue that punch was legal. That's the one that finished the fight and it was CLEARLY ILLEGAL. If this doesn't get over turned I give up with boxing, corrupt as ****.

Of course Ward was better this time Sergey. The lesser version of Ward barely decisioned you last time. The better version made you scream TOBY this time.

FACT ALERT:At the beginning of the fight, when the fighters were with the ref for final instrutions, he established where the beltline would be WITH HIS LEFT HAND EXTENDED, AND IT WAS LOWER THAN WHERE WARDS PUNCH LANDED
with around 1:05 left in the round, Kov was already trying to hold and tie-up Ward, then Ward hit him with 3 consecutive lefts (2 to the head and one to the body) When he landed the 3rd punch to the body, Kov turned and ran away. Kov was already done Ward chopped him down. Watch kov litterally turn and run up out of the action because of that body shot, look at the video of the fight and you will see that I am correct.

Kov should've said he injured his shoulder......
