Lol he didn't put an end to anything. He literally says he fought two people. I.e. The ref and ward.

Weeks isn't Captain Save a Kov. The shots didn't warrant 5 minutes. IMO Weeks should've let it go so Ward could've inflicted more damage and pay him back for all the crap he talked before the fight.

The outcome was clear to anyone with common sense-Ward dominated Kov and he was looking for an excuse to stop fighting.

Just because a few of NSB's Aryan Boxing Fans can't handle the loss doesn't mean we need to pretend Kov got something taken from him other than his soul.

Weeks isn't Dr. Kevorkian-his job isn't to help Kov commit suicide.
So your going to lump me in with the idiots, Dunn?

        A. It was a close fight, up until the 8th round. Ward was really strating to lay it on at that point, obviously. But to talk like Ward was dominating the entire fight is a joke.

        B. The fight was stopped off a low blow. That in itself is a no no. Your or anyone else's belief about what would of happened after that is nothing more than conjecture. Rules exist for a reason, partly to avoid controversy just like this. But **** the rules as long as it works out the way we want? If the roles were reversed the same **** would be going on here just the roles of the participants would be different.

I agree that Ward was likely on his way to a spectacular KO, but we will never know.

        C. People acting like Kov quit, I mean wtf. He literally had a few seconds from the time Ward landed the low blow till the time Weeks waved the fight off. He winced in pain the instant the shot landed, that is'nt acting. But to listen to some he put on some Oscar worthy performance in that amount of time.

No way dude. You know I respect your position even when we disagree.

          A. Ward was pulling ahead and was in control of that fight. Kov was looking tired and fading. Dominating suggests something more than that so I can accept that criticism.

          B. i don't think the shot was egregious. I think it may have been a bit low. I also watched weeks tell Kov punches in that area would be considered legal because of where his trunks were positioned.

Now I wasn't logged on the night of the fight but did anyone complain when Weeks said this in the dressing room or before the fight?

Weeks IMO saved Kov from being KTFO. yes we will never know, but IMO he was looking to quit because he didn't want it anymore. We can agree to disagree.

          C. Not just people, pro fighters and some of the most respected posters on this site. There is a group of posters that are treating the shots like the shots Golota landed on Bowe. Ridiculous!!! Unfortunately a lot of the responses you see are reactions to this garbage by the Aryan Boxing Fans I mentioned in my post.

IMO he was trying to over sell to get Weeks to give him a break. Obviouslyh, because I do not like Kov, the easy response is to just say I am biased. Take my response out of it. Read the opinions of many pros watching the fight.

My friend, this was the classic case of a bully running away when he couldn't intimidate anymore. Kov looked like Laimbeer and Isiah walking off against the Bulls.

He knew what he did in there. He lifted his trunks and cried like a b1tch to draw a foul.

Any other fight this would have been a 10-8 rd for the fighter who got hit low repeatedly.

Kov got tired, was getting hurt, and wanted out. I wish Weeks wouldn't have stopped it.

Log off, cut holes in your pillow case, throw on a sheet, smoke some meth and go to the nearest dive bar and drink until you get over the loss.

All good. I'm just pissed because I wanted the actual KO. Watching with my buddies I was acting a fool screaming at the screen to knock that mother****er out. Then that happened and I'm just like wtf.

Yes it was Weeks fault. Squarely.

He stopped a fight on low blows.

Ward most likely would have won but he didn't legitimately stop SK under those circumstances.

Weeks didn't do Ward any favors, every time Ward was in the mist of fighting out of the clinch and attempting to land solid shots on the inside Weeks would interrupt that. It's one of the things that annoyed me most in the early rounds.
